Burger Battle: Which of these burger joints is the best in Palm Beach County?

Meat has been a cornerstone of human life since the day of the caveman. Since man discovered meat, they turned it into delicious hamburgers. The burgers I ate were graded on hunger satisfaction, how it was cooked, the flavor of the toppings, service, size, and taste.

I ordered Brass Ring’s standard half pound cheeseburger cooked medium, with American cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The burger came out quickly and looked like a regular burger, but that was the deception. Once I tasted the burger, it was love at first bite. The burger was cooked that perfect pink that needs to be in every good burger. The toppings all worked together to elevate the taste of and made it a solid meal. The service at the restaurant was also very solid. The food came out quickly and our waiter was attentive and fast. The only reason is would not give it five stars is because the fries were a bit bland and the restaurant was sort of dark and loud. That is why I give Brass Ring Pub four out of five stars.

I ordered the BurgerFi cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and the special BurgerFi sauce, which I was hoping would add some flare. The time from ordering the burger to getting it only took a bit over five minutes, which was a good start. Unfortunately, the burger was just average First, it was small. Second, the lettuce and tomato did nothing to enhance the taste. Third, the BurgerFi sauce could not be tasted. Lastly, the food is unbelievably overpriced. It was $33 for three cheeseburgers, a drink, and fries. The one good thing about this experience was the fries which were perfectly salted and crunchy. That being said, it did not make up for the huge disappointment in the burger. I had heard some people rave about BurgerFi, but it did not live up to its hype. That is why I give BurgerFi two and a half out of five stars.

Five Guys had a reputation for being one of the best burger places in the nation. And when I went there, the food lived up to it. The cashier at the counter did not seem like she wanted to be there. That did not exactly make for a good start. The value for the meal was not a steal, but not expensive.  After a 10 minute wait, the burger came out quickly and was a perfect size. It had two thin patties, two slices of cheese, lettuce and tomato. I ordered it with a side of their special Cajun French fries. The burger was delicious. It was cooked perfectly and the toppings added taste without overpowering the burger.  The bun also added to the taste of the burger. Everything on the burger worked together to elevate the burger above the rest of the ones I ate. The fries, were also cooked perfectly and had a great taste to add to the meal. The only thing I would change about this experience was the service, but everything else was very good. Five Guys’  pleasantly surprised me and that is why I give this restaurant four and a half out of five stars.
