Students from Bak compete in Academic Games tournament

In the recent Social Studies Academic Games tournament on Feb. 6, Bak MSOA placed first in competition for the fourth year in a row.

Students from Bak placed in the top 58. John Parel got 52 place with 121 points, Jessica Weinberg got 40 place with 141 points. Annie Hu got 30 place with 173 points. William Dhana got 29 place with 175 points. Ashesh Amatya got 18 place with 196 points. Miles Wang got 17 place with 200 points.

The players from that placed 15 and above were invited to the Battle at the Beach State Tournament. Rushik Sakamuri got 15 place with 213. Timothy Chen got 11 place with 230 points. Rohith Karthik got seventh place with 256 points.

The top five students in the competition are going to represent Palm Beach County at the National Academic Games Tournament. Jay Kantamneni got first in the competition with 302 points and Deven Seedial got second with 284 points.
