With many movie and TV show releases that happened during summer break, students looked forward to watching hours of entertaining films.
“Minions: The Rise of Gru”, was an animated feature of the “Despicable Me” series and was rated PG. It was about the character from the series, Gru. This movie focused on Gru’s childhood to explain how he became a villain. The film took place when Gru was eight years old and before he became in charge of the Minions This movie will be released and available to watch in theaters on July 1, 2022.
“Stranger Things” was another iconic show to watch. Season four followed the story of a friend group who is separated because of the struggles with the aftermath of the Battle of Starcourt, as well as the hardships of high school. Not only that, a terrifying supernatural threat posed a new mystery to them, but, if they had solved it, it may have put the horrors of the Upside Down to an end, forever. Part one of the fourth season will be released on May 22, 2022. Part two will be released six weeks later,on July 1, 2022. Both parts will be available to watch on Netflix and are rated TV-14.
