During a practice, the step team led by Captain Ireanna Linder, 8th grade dance major, did warm ups such as stretching, jumping jacks, and more. “We practice every week, and we do everything over and over and over again,” Linder said. “Sometimes I get tired of it because we have to do the same thing every week. We just practice a lot to make sure that everyone knows what they’re doing.”

Raising the trumpet to his lips, Mathew Harper practices his solo for the final band performance. Harper said, “I stress out when I have thoughts while playing, so I try to keep thinking to a minimum.”

Rushing in after the regular line, kids in the a la carte line get to choose between items like chips and cookies. Jacob Quartel said, “A lot of people were losing their place in line during the first semester. Now, everything is more efficient.”

Substituting for Karen Anthony’s science class, Richard Tozzie takes attendance and supervises the class. The bill passed will raise a substitute’s salary depending on their past education. “The value of a sub is going to be greater when you have a specialized talent,” Tozzie said.

Customers can choose a selection of accessories with the Apple Airtag to attach to items people lose. They also had the option to customize their Airtag for free with an engraving of text or emoji.

The novel They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera inspires projects made for the monthly book assignment. “I would recommend ‘They Both Die At The End’ because it has a really interesting concept, and the choices made by the author were pulled off well,” Regan McGinnis, eighth grade visual arts major said.

In the past, restroom vandalism becomes a trend with negative consequences. “I love social media because it can unite people and be helpful, but people need to use their own logic and brains to know 0020what is right and wrong,” Misty Connelly said. The trend started with a TikTok user’s video, which led other users to steal items such as soap dispensers, towels, and even sinks.
