Beverly Smith retires after working at Bak for 20 years as a magnet secretary. Many staff members such as Pamela Jackson will miss her for all she has done.   “What I will miss the most is that she is one of the most organized and loving, caring person that I know. These attributes will be deeply missed,” Jackson said.

Griffin said, “The importance is being able to showcase all the skills that we have learned and just feeling proud of yourself for being able to beat other talented kids in the county.”

Capturing the attention of the audience, the chorale students sing the traditional vocal song, “Starmakers.” At Starfest the vocal group along with other majors showcased what they worked on throughout the year. “It was so much fun getting to see people I knew and to see their faces while singing, it was such an eye opening experience,” Lefkowitz said.
