Taylor Swift, a world phenomenon, announced a six-part docuseries and an Eras Tour film last fall just a few days after her newest album got released. Both films premiered on December 12, 2025 on Disney+.
The six episode docuseries, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era”, contains the behind the scenes of Taylor’s world breaking tour, The Eras Tour. Whereas the official movie, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show”, focuses on her last performance of the Eras Tour which took place in Vancouver, Canada. It features the set and how the crew prepares for the production of the Eras Tour.
“Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl”, was another movie that premiered last fall, showing the behind the scenes of the music video, “The Fate of Ophelia”, which had a deeper message behind each song in her new album.
Taylor, who is well known for expressing her life through her songs, uses this docuseries to share her personal experiences that shaped her music. The arrival of her docuseries and film were well scheduled, as the singer turned 36.
