Downtown West Palm Beach was hopping with an energetic vibe on Valentine’s Day, last February 14. But it wasn’t the high-energy, cupid-type-of-love-in-the-air, with skyline views affair that made it super warm and special. The Palm Tree Festival took center stage along Flagler Drive at the foot of Clematis Street, and people came in droves.
Palm Beach has hosted many different music festivals in the past like SunFest, PBI Music and Arts, and 561 Music Festival. And this year, The Palm Tree Festival, which likes to create magical moments around the world in cities like Singapore or in the Hamptons, New York, chose Downtown West Palm Beach. The world-class music lineup included Calvin Harris, Kygo, SOFI TUKKER, and many more.
This is the first year that the Palm Tree Festival takes place in Florida, exponentially growing the festival from other states. Which shows that West Palm Beach is on the worldwide map, attracting extraordinary wealth, talent, and major events to our palm-tree-lined streets.
Aside from the great entertainment lineup, the festival included a range of diverse foods, dining halls, vendors, and VIP food areas. Attendees also had the opportunity to visit nearby restaurants such as Avocado Grill and Elisabetta’s Italian Restaurant. The festival is famous for serving gourmet meals and high end food trucks with a wide selection of drinks, creating a premium vibe and experience for the audience.
The Palm Tree Festivals’ tropical aesthetic attracted tourists and visitors with its lively atmosphere. Many locals enjoyed having the festival in their backyard, thrilled that this could very well become an annual event. While the Palm Tree festival is a retro, tropical themed event, there was no confirmed dress code, so individuals branched out and explored different styles based on their personality.
Many different kinds of visuals adorned Flagler. From LEDS, and banners, to bright staging, and tropical decor, this festival was packed with Florida’s signature items that made it special.
The Palm Tree was more than just a music festival. Locals and visitors alike left feeling special that this world acclaimed event came to our shores and made West Palm Beach another iconic location to be experienced.
